Air Italy Polska: The Best Airline 2010

Air Italy Polska has been awarded the prestigious prize Awionetka 2010 in the category "The Best Airline of the Year". This is not the first recognition for the air carrier. AIP had been awarded the Laur Konsumenta Prize before.

The Awionetka 2010 ceremony was held on 6 October 2010 in the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel at the Frederic Chopin Airport in Warsaw. Additionally, Air Italy Polska sponsored the main prize, which was an air ticket (voucher) for a randomly picked member of the audience.

 Air Italy Polska is effective in competing for Polish customers with foreign charter airlines. The airline focuses on the care for customer comfort and safety. The carrier has been consistently implementing a programme for product quality improvement. It was the first airline in Poland to operate the ultramodern Boeing 737-800 New Generation, which ensures top comfort and safety onboard. AIP is also exceptional in its understanding of the demands of the charter market and in the transparency of its business relations. It is a brand you can trust - we read in the rationale for the award.

When receiving the prize, Mariusz Szpikowski, the President of Air Italy Polska said: The AIP team is proud of this honour. Our efforts have once again been recognized and appreciated. I would like to stress that our focus is on customers. Their well-being and safety are our top priorities. The title of The Best Airline of the Year is a great honour, yet it is not only about prestige. It also involves a lot of responsibility and mobilizes to even more intense efforts.

Air Italy Polska is developing in a harsh market and legal environment. Unfortunately, the existing regulations do not create favourable conditions to airlines registered in Poland, which pay taxes and create added value represented by new jobs. AIP has a strong understanding of the challenges of the Polish labour market.
